What is the difference between the WMV, MOV and iPod/PSP formats?
Answer: The main difference is the file compression and type.
WMV is a windows format that generally plays well on Windows PCs It's always best to have the latest version of windows media player on your PC for viewing movies. Download Windows Media Player by clicking here. If you're a Mac user and would like to use the WMV format, download and install the free movie player Flip4Mac at www.flip4mac.com
MOV is a quicktime format designed for both Apple/Mac and Windows PC users. You can download Quicktime for either Apple computers or Windows computers here.
Finally, we have a format for members who would like to take their movies with them wherever they go with their iPod and/or PSP. This video format is basically MPEG4 with a much higher compression. The quality is good for small 3" screens, but is incredibly grainy for regular sized monitors or TVs. We don't recommend downloading this format if you're not going to view them on your iPod or PSP.
